Spring has arrived! {Well, it sort of has…}
Despite the cooler weather we’re experiencing on the Island, we’re in full Spring mode! And just like we’ve been talking about for months, pastels are here to stay. The softness of the pastel palette is so ethereal, and it’s perfect for an Island lifestyle. Oh, and florals. Big, big florals.
Here’s what’s inspiring our Spring collections:
The loveliness of the soft blues, baby pinks, and lilacs as seen on the runway are making their way into Birdie James. They’re a beautiful color palette for us, and we love a pastel because it’s a subtle way to make a strong style statement. {I mean, did you see Jennifer Gleitsmann in the photo for this blog post?!} There are so many different ways to incorporate these colors into your wardrobe. If you’re not into the full head-to-toe look, add them in as an accent to your classic and monochromatic style. Pretty pastel pieces from our favorites, Endless Rose, Free the Roses, & Inae Collection have made their way into Birdie James, and we’re excited to see how they evolve through Summer and into Fall.
And you’ve guessed it! Bold pieces in Pantone’s color of the year, Violet, are also making a huge statement this season. It’s evident this color has inspired every line we carry…to see the inspiration, come into Birdie James and span the room. Even if it’s not an exact shade of violet, you can see a hint of it in nearly every piece. While not initially on board with this one, we’ve been inspired by this meditative shade, and love the feminine touch it’s given our Spring collections! {Again, did you see the photo of Jennifer Gleitsmann?}
We LOVE a good fashion moment because it’s a representation of how style can truly come to life. It can fill up a room, and this one had us gasping for air…
